Universities

Quite often universities lack the possibility to produce their own electronic systems in a quasi industrial manner.

This means that there may be difficulties reproducing the system, especially if the person responsible has left the university, as the documentation is quite often incomplete or fragmented. This is further compounded if the main subject of the institute is not electronics design, as systems are often quickly “glued together” and are not properly designed or documented.

This leads to an electronic design that can be easily manufactured by the institute in volumes from a few to a few hundred, for the institute itself, or to sell to other institutes, or research organisations that they work with.

Production and Sales

If requested, Art of Technology can also manage the production of small series and sell them to interested customers. However, Art of Technology does not normally take over any support for any of the systems.
